Day 1: Arrive in Paro

  • Sightseeing and explore Paro town to acclimatize.
  • Altitude: 2,280m

Day 2: Trek to Bumdra Monastery

  • Begin trek from Sang Choekhor Monastery to Bumdra camp.
  • Distance: 7 km | Trek Time: 4 hours
  • Overnight Altitude: 3,500m

Day 3: Bumdra – Tiger’s Nest – Thimphu

  • Descend past Tiger’s Nest to base, then drive to Thimphu.
  • Hike: 4 hours | Drive: 1.5 hours (68 km)

Day 4: Thimphu Sightseeing

  • Visit Buddha Dordenma, Memorial Chorten, and Folk Heritage Museum.
  • Altitude: 2,334m

Day 5: Thimphu – Punakha Sightseeing

  • Drive via Dochula Pass to Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong and Chimi Lhakhang.
  • Drive: 3 hours (76 km)

Day 6: Punakha – Wangdue – Thimphu

  • Return via Wangdue with sightseeing en route.
  • Drive: 3 hours (90 km)

Day 7: Thimphu – Paro (Departure)

  • Drive back to Paro for departure.
  • Drive: 1 hour (54 km)
