Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
- Arrival at Paro International Airport
- Warm welcome by your local Guide & Driver
- Drive to Thimphu (1.5 hours)
- On the way visit at Tamchog Lhakhang and the Iron Chain Bridge
- In Thimphu:
- Visit Buddha Dordenma Statue – panoramic views of the valley
- Explore Memorial Chorten
- Evening walk in Thimphu Town (Local shops & Cafes)
- Overnight: Hotel in Thimphu
Day 2: Thimphu – Dochula Pass – Punakha
- Drive to Punakha (2.5–3 hours) via Dochula Pass (3,100m). Stop to enjoy panoramic Himalayan views & 108 stupas at Dochula pass.
- On the way visit at Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple)
- In Punakha:
- Visit the stunning Punakha Dzong – located between two rivers (Pho chu & Mo chu)
- Walk across Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge
- Optional: River Rafting
- Overnight: Hotel in Punakha
Day 3: Punakha – Return to Paro
- Leisurely breakfast
- Drive back to Paro(4–5 hours)
- In Paro:
- Visit Paro Rinpung Dzong
- Explore Ta Dzong (National Museum)
- Walk around Paro town for souvenir shopping
- Optional: Traditional hot stone bath or cultural dress experience
- Overnight: Hotel in Paro
Day 4: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang)
- Early morning:
- Hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang) (~5-hour round trip)
- Optional pony ride till halfway
- Post-hike:
- Lunch at a local restaurant
- Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan’s oldest temples
- Evening at leisure in Paro
- Overnight: Hotel in Paro
Day 5: Departure from Paro
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Transfer to Paro International Airport
- Farewell by Guide and Driver
